Day Two

                      Welcome to Utah...

Wednesday June 12: After a wonderful evening of fellowship with our friends, Rick and Elva, we awoke to a beautiful morning. Rick and Elva were getting ready to go up to where we had just come from and we were headed east. We said our goodbyes and off we went.

We weren't planning to drive for very long this day: just a couple hours to the Hill Aerospace Museum  in Ogden Utah. The dive was largely uneventful until I discovered I had left all our homemade jerky at Rick and Elva's!😭 A quick text to them and Rick assured me he'd bring it with them when we meet up again at the State Rally.

If you are even remotely interested in aviation or military history, Hill Aerospace Museum is a must-see. Our pictures don't do this place justice. Their website does much better.

The  Douglas C124 Globemaster is the first thing you see as you approach the Hill Aerospace Museum.

An A-10 Warthog. If you see one of these coming at you, you're going to have a bad day.30mm gatling gun from the A-10 with my thumb for comparison.

After settling in to our room. we decided to take a walk to a restaurant that was nearby. Wonderful neighborhood.

Well, that wraps up our second day. We've been loving the feedback... Keep it coming! Also feel free to share this link.

For now, blessings.

Arnold & Angela.
