Five States in One Day

            We began our day in Arkansas.

The National Rally closed on Sunday, June 23 and we began our journey towards Florida. Our goal was to make Jackson Mississippi that evening. After the closing service, we packed our things an headed back to Dale and Anna's to load the bike back on the trailer.

             Our second state of the day 

We got the bike loaded and left Hochatown only to get snarled in traffic! 😠 We broke loose and began taking back roads...

We hit three states at once: Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana. Of course, we started in Arkansas and drove for a bit through Texas to get to this point.

Our fifth state of the day was Mississippi. Above is a stock photo and the photo below was taken by Angela as we were crossing the Mississippi River at Vicksburg.

It was a long day with all the delays but we arrived at our destination just a few miles south of Jackson at a reasonable hour.
