Hochatown

If you're going to stay in Hochatown OK, you ought to pronounce it correctly.

We've been staying in their "Coffee and Bamboo" cabin. Both Dale and Anna work tirelessly to maintain and present these beautiful cabins for their guests. 

Hochatown is located near Beavers Bend State Park on the shores of Broken Bow Lake in Southeast Oklahoma. In recent years, this area has developed into a major vacation destination for the region. Angela and I got just a sample of what goes on there...

Standing on the shore of Broken Bow Lake at Chrystal Point 

It's called Chrystal Point because of the abundant quartz crystals. These crystals are incredibly smooth to the touch.

We brought back a small sample... The Chrystal's range from a milky white to clear.

It was great catching up with Dale and Anna and their family. Like I said, we spent most of our time laying low because we knew we were in for our next adventure,the CMA NATIONAL RALLY..
