Retirement Party

I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and do good while they live, and also that every man should eat and drink and find satisfaction in all his labor—this is the gift of God. Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

Check out Fazzari's Facebook page announcing Angela's retirement here. If you don't have a Facebook account, just close out the notice that asks you to sign in. As of today, the page has almost 900 likes!

Our adventure has begun and we haven't left town yet! Starting Friday, the day before the party, Angela's sister, Joanna, who planned, arranged and pulled this party off (in stunning fashion) rolled into town to begin setup. Joanna and her husband left their truck with the party supplies in it at our house and Angela took them to their hotel. The plan after check in was to meet for dinner at a local restaurant with family and friends. While Joanna was checking in, she asked the clerk "is my brother booked in the adjoining room?" Angela was all, "WHAAAT!?" Joanna had spilled the beans! Unbeknownst to Angela, Joanna and Dale had been colluding to bring Dale and Anna out as a surprise for her. She almost succeeded! (I was supposed to meet everyone at the restaurant after getting off work and when I saw Dale there, my mind was blown.🤯)

Angela's retirement party was a top shelf event! About 70 people from every chapter of her life  showed up. The love and support for her was over the top. Two days later we're still trying to get our minds around what went down this past weekend.

Here are a few pictures...

There's no way this blog post can do justice to what went on there. Cousins, customers, co-workers, church and CMA friends... All came out to wish Angela well in this new chapter of her life. By the end of the day, we were tired but our hearts were full.

HUGE thank you goes out, of course, to Joanna and everyone who helped pull off this amazing event. Also, our gratitude goes out to all who showed up and shared a very special day with us.

Blessings to all... Next post should be on the road!
