If you're going to stay in Hochatown OK, you ought to pronounce it correctly.
This installment of our trip is going to open with a shameless plug for Dale and Anna's cabins. Click the linked text to see the cabins they own or manage. We've been staying in their "Coffee and Bamboo" cabin. Both Dale and Anna work tirelessly to maintain and present these beautiful cabins for their guests.
Hochatown is located near Beavers Bend State Park on the shores of Broken Bow Lake in Southeast Oklahoma. In recent years, this area has developed into a major vacation destination for the region. Angela and I got just a sample of what goes on there...
After traveling 2100 miles, we were more interested in cooling our heels in an air conditioned cabin and visiting with family than doing the tourist thing. We did, however, get out and explore a little bit...
It's called Chrystal Point because of the abundant quartz crystals. These crystals are incredibly smooth to the touch.
It was great catching up with Dale and Anna and their family. Like I said, we spent most of our time laying low because we knew we were in for our next adventure, the CMA NATIONAL RALLY..
Until next time... Blessings.
